SUMMARY:

We are looking for a passionate Account Manager who will partner with and ensure the long-term success of our guests.

You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with your portfolio of assigned customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders. You will liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs.

  • Compensation:$55k to $60k base salary(DOE), plus bonus & retention commissions

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate as a lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your customers
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Identify SOW opportunities within territory with existing guest accounts
  • Completion of Annual Account Reviews for all top tier guests
  • Schedule, organize, and host monthly site appreciation events at our company owned Cardlock sites
  • Delivery of cards, maps, and misc. items per guest requests
  • After hours on call responsibilities to include response time under two hours
  • Review and management of Comparative Report for gallon fluctuation on all managed accounts
  • Successfully communicate received customer requests to Customer Service using online portals while staying within Customer Services processes

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Promote and support company image standards
  • Cross train and/or act as back up for other positions in the department
  • Adheres to all city, county, state and federal regulations
  • Stay familiar with the Company Handbook and Company Policies
  • Communicate effectively with team members in other departments to resolve problems and provide information as needed
  • Work in a safe manner at all times and report all accidents immediately

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven account management or other relevant experience
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-Level
  • Experience in delivering client focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Associates Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school. 2-3 years of outside B2B Sales Experience in a similar business environment preferred. Other education/experience may be considered as a substitute.

LANGUAGE and/or COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

  • Read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, emails and procedural manuals.
  • Write simple correspondence.
  • Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other team members.
  • Communicate with personnel utilizing Company software and customer management tools.
