Summary:

This position performs duties related to solution preparation as assigned by the Solutions Preparation Lead and Production Supervisor. These duties include (but are not limited to) measurement and preparation of reagents and equipment used in solution preparation, performing pH measurements, and operating an autoclave.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Accurately measure reagents within given acceptable ranges according to solution preparation sheets.
• Accurately measure the pH of prepared solutions and determine if they are inside or outside of given acceptable ranges.
• Autoclave solutions and dilution tanks.
• Clean used tank preparation equipment.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Production Supervisor.

Education and Experience:

• Reading and writing abilities sufficient to comprehend the written word at a minimum of a tenth grade level;
• Mathematics ability sufficient to perform computations at a minimum of an eighth grade level;
• One or more years spent working in a busy manufacturing environment;
• Knowledge of Microsoft productivity software including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook;
• Detail-oriented;
• Comfort working independently and a dedication to exercising a high level of professionalism at all times;
• Ability to lift more than 75 pounds;
• Ability to perform tasks requiring mobility, and gross and fine motor skills that meet the Company’s productivity and quality objectives as set out in the Solutions Preparation Associate Job Description
• Excellent communication skills, demonstrable sound leadership, and a positive attitude
