The Vice Presidency for Corporate Support (COSVP) integrates Budget and Business Administration, Strategy, HR, Communication, and Information & Technology functions under one umbrella to enable the execution of IFC’s management and operational needs in the best way. As part of the VPU, the Strategic Initiatives, Analytics & Knowledge Management (CSI) department exists to (1) drive innovation and continuous improvement within Corporate Support VPU and (2) together with all other functions within our VPU and in partnership with other relevant units across IFC, support the Management Team and the rest of our senior leadership in designing and implementing the institutional change needed to achieve IFC’s strategic objectives and growth ambitions.
The Knowledge and Learning (CSIKL) unit is divided into two main areas: the Knowledge Management team oversees knowledge management and content management initiatives at IFC that work to get the right information to the right people at the right time.
In support of IFC’s effort to harness our knowledge generation and delivery to our clients as well as to provide continuous professional learning of staff, the Corporate Learning team supports the development and management of staff learning paths, required (tiered) learning, curation of courses (through Open Learning Campus learning management system), a corporate learning calendar, learning reporting tools and select course delivery to improve staff efficiency and operational excellence. We provide advice to staff and management, guiding them in the process of identifying potential learning opportunities to develop knowledge, skills, and competencies that raise the quality of IFC's operations. We support and offer a range of learning products including interactive, practical face–to–face courses, blended online and in person models combining digital products, and self-paced courses.
Duties and Accountabilities:
The Knowledge and Learning Unit is seeking a highly motivated and capable candidate committed to cultivate a learning culture across IFC by promoting a growth mindset that values curiosity, innovation, and the sharing of expertise. The willingness and interest to create new corporate learning capabilities is key. The role will require collaborating with multiple stakeholders across IFC, in particular operations, corporate functions, and the human resource teams. The candidate, with support of the senior leadership of the corporate learning function and the head of the department, will develop and manage several new corporate learning capabilities.
