Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Office Furniture Installer to join our team. As an Office Furniture Installer, you will be responsible for the efficient and precise installation of office furniture systems, ensuring that all installations meet industry standards and client specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Install office furniture systems, including desks, chairs, cabinets, partitions, and shelving units, according to blueprints, drawings, and client specifications.
- Safely handle and transport furniture components to installation sites.
- Use hand and power tools to assemble and install furniture with precision and accuracy.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion of installations.
- Inspect finished installations to ensure quality and adherence to safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or discrepancies during the installation process.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with clients.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an office furniture installer or similar role.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Strong understanding of furniture assembly techniques and installation methods.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and installation instructions.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects and work in various environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or training in furniture installation or related field.
- Previous experience working in commercial or corporate environments.
- Familiarity with different types of office furniture systems and manufacturers.
