This position is part of a team that is responsible for the assembly of mechanical, electrical, and wired components, including sensors, wire-harnesses and electronic circuits.

Monday-Friday

1st Shift 6am - 2:30pm
2nd Shift 3pm - 11:30pm$16 per hour

REQUIREMENTS

• Electrical wiring skills and soldering skills are required

• Experience in wire harness assembly a plus. Vocational or technical training in electrical trades or electronics is preferred

• Ability to read and interpret wiring prints and cut sheets

• Accurate measurement skills

• High attention to detail and self-motivation skills.

• Proficient with hand tools.

• Able to communicate thoughts and ideas in both verbal and written form.

• Persevere to solve problems and find new ways to deliver better efficiency.

• Basic PC knowledge (ability to operate a keyboard and basic navigation between screens within an application.)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assembly of wiring harnesses using hand tools and proper assembly techniques

• Solder, crimp, and install specialized connectors

• Troubleshoot and test assemblies

• Utilize internal company software to process work orders

• Preparing layout boards for new engineering designs

• Defining new cut-sheets for new assemblies

• Develop new test fixtures and define quality assurance procedures

• Maintaining a safe and clean environment by keeping shelves and workstations neat; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
