DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
A production Machine Operator assists the team as needed in the safe and efficient operation of the lines. Keeping a clean and orderly work area at all times to meet and exceed production goals.
REQUIRED SKILLS :
- HS / GED preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Willingness to work 12 hour shifts that rotates every 2 weeks from days to nights
- Ability to troubleshoot when necessary
- Ability to distinguish color
- Able to lift and push up to 50lbs when necessary
- Keep work area clean at all times
NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT REQUIRED :
More than 1 year experience as a machine operator.
THINGS TO CONSIDER :
- The associate will be exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions;
- work in high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; outdoor weather conditions; extreme cold and heat; risk or electrical shock;
and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
