We are looking for a Security Architect who will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our systems, networks, and data from potential threats. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing robust security solutions to protect our internal and external infrastructure and assets. This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The Security Architect will stay informed with the latest cybersecurity trends, emerging threats, best practices, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

Who You Are:

• You hold a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
• You have eight (8) years of experience in IT.
• You have two (2) to four (4) years of experience in a security-focused role.
• You hold a security-focused certification.
• You have a customer-first orientation and the ability to communicate effectively.

What You’re Accountable For:

• Designing and developing comprehensive security architectures, frameworks, and solutions tailored to meet internal and external needs and requirements.
• Managing Worksighted’s Security Essentials product (ATP, MFA, Dark Web, KnowBe4, etc.) and providing input on potential new tools to update our Tech Stack.
• Conducting risk assessments and analyses to identify potential security threats, vulnerabilities, and weaknesses within systems, networks, and applications.
• Managing security incidents and coordinating incident response activities to minimize the impact of security breaches.
• Providing after-hours support for security incidents, on-call rotation duties, and providing fail over support for SOC vendors as needed.
• Collaborating with external agencies (i.e. insurance agencies, law firms, vendors) as needed to ensure Worksighted and our clients maintain a strong and compliant security posture.
• Assisting in the management and administration of security tools and technologies, including antivirus software, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint security solutions.
• Collaborating closely with the sales and marketing teams to provide technical expertise and participating in client meetings, presentations, and webinars.
• Facilitating security awareness training sessions to educate clients and employees on best practices, emerging threats, and mitigation strategies.
• Providing training and support to Security Specialists and Support Team Engineers on monitoring and managing security products and services, serving as a subject matter expert and point of escalation for security-related issues.
• Resolving escalated customer service issues related to security, ensuring timely and effective resolution that aligns with customer and business needs.
• Participating on the cross-functional security team that identifies, reviews, and sets priorities for client focused security policies, services, and initiatives.
• Assisting with developing security best practices, security standards, and documentation for the organization alongside the internal IT advisory team.
• Providing regular reporting to key stakeholders and Worksighted leadership on the current state of the information security program and suggestions to improve key metrics.
• Any other duties and tasks that are required by the Company.
