Our client, a custom welding and machine shop, is seeking experienced Manual Machinists to join their team in the Gulfport, MS area. This is a critical role where you will have to set up from blueprint and operate a manual lathe, vertical boring machine, mills, press brake, or and machine custom parts/materials daily.
Requirements:

• Proven Manual Machine experience
• Machine Setup experience
• Ability to read blueprints

As a member of the team, you can expect:

• Excellent Compensation - earn $24 to $35/hour based on experience. Team members can make $50,000 - $72,800 annually or more (paid hourly, includes overtime and other incentives)!

• Desirable Schedule - Monday - Friday 6:00AM - 2:30 PM with a guaranteed 40 hours and no weekend work! Overtime is available and as needed.
• Work Environment - work independently operating a variety of manual machining equipment. Vertical boring mills, horizontal mills, lathes, etc. Machine custom parts where craftsmanship and attention to detail is paramount - this is NOT high-volume production where you make the same parts repeatedly. Focus on Safety, Quality, and Craftsmanship. Work closely with Welders and QC to ensure quality parts.
• Exciting Projects: work with a variety of different metals such as alloy steels (stainless, etc), carbon steel, and more!
  Safety - With cutting edge equipment and high safety standards, they strive to keep a clean and safe working environment.
