Workrise is Hiring a Business Systems Analyst Intern Near Austin, TX
Internship Details:
- Hybrid internship (in-office attendance at our downtown Austin office location)
- Internship Dates: June 3 - August 4, 2024
What you’ll be doing:
- Partner cross-functionally with business stakeholders to design, implement, and maintain systems that streamline repetitive tasks for employees and business teams
- Plan and execute Collaboration & Productivity technology initiatives within the IT & Business Systems team
- Identify business process gaps through problem-framing and solutions
- Develop recommendations around how to close business process gaps by leveraging technology solutions
- Documenting workflows and integrations among systems to visualize the overall process and user experience
Experience and Education Requirements:
- Currently pursuing degree focused on Management of Information Systems or Business Analytics
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and program management skills
- Ability to communicate in a clear and concise professional manner, tailored to the appropriate audience; including both verbal and written communications
- Experience performing detailed gap analysis, and preparing as-is & to-be process documentation
Additional experience preferred, but not required:
- Experience with Collaboration & Productivity tools (Google Workspace, slack, Zendesk, Zoom phones, Atlassian)
- Knowledge of AI tools and capabilities available in the market
- Previous experience in an Operational role at a Technology company
Essential Job Functions:

- Ability to use office computer programs such as e-mail, Google Docs, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel

- Occasionally ascend or descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like

- Occasionally moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another
