Job Position: AR/Billing Specialist

Location: Woodstock, IL 60098

Pay Rate: $22.00-$25.00/hr BOE

Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm

Duration: Ongoing with the possibility of permanent hire

Description:

• Generating billings and reconciling progress billings
• Reconciling accounts receivable payments
• Posting accounts receivable payments n accounting software
• Generate lien waivers
• Procure supplier/vendor waivers
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years construction accounts receivable experience
• Associated degree in business or accounting/finance or higher or at least 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience
• Experience with construction accounting software
• Experience generating lien waivers and has an understanding of conditional versus unconditional
• Experience procuring supplier/vendor waivers
• Understands billing procedures for stored materials
• Experience working with mainstream accounting software, preferably Sage 300, but anything similar
• Experience entering schedule of values
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to maintain cohesive cross-departmental relationships
• Being open to learning possible non-AR-related accounting/finance tasks as needed
• Must be a self-starter
• Ability to multitask
