Principle Responsibilities
Process components through cleaning solutions in accordance with written procedures. Working with cleaning solvents and acids. Disassemble
and re-assemble components. Perform functional tests of components.
Standard Duties
Disassemble components per written instructions. Re-assemble components with reconditioned or new parts. Perform functional tests of re-
assembled components, such as, leak check, relief valve crack and reseat pressure, hydrostatic, pneumostatic, cold shock, in accordance with
written procedures. Move parts/components through various cleaning stations. Lift baskets of parts from ground into cleaning tanks. Scrub parts
with brushes. Work with chemical solvents. Perform visual inspection of parts to verify cleanliness. Add chemical/solvents/acids to cleaning vats.
Move chemicals from storage to pre-clean area. Keep similar parts for various customers separated for work order and quality tracking purposes.
Operate field cleaning equipment. Collect samples of cleaned parts in accordance with written instructions.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED; 1-2 years experience working as a mechanic
Capabilities
Ability to read written procedures and work orders. Ability to hear and understand verbal instructions. Ability to use small handle tools. Ability to
perform precise adjustments using hand tools.
Physical Requirements
Bending, stooping, climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs. Repetitive scrubbing motions. Standing for long periods of time. Wearing personal protective
equipment, i.e., rubber gloves, face shield, protective apron, etc. Working with and around chemicals.

equipment, cryogenic liquids, high pressure gases, torque wrench.
