RN Home Health – Brighton, MA and surrounding area

Schedule: Standard Monday – Friday schedule, with occasional weekends if required.

Times: 8 am to 5 pm

Payrate: $75,000. to $95,000/year

***Bonuses: $7,000 sign-on bonus***

Requirements to Apply:

• Licenses: Active and unrestricted MA RN License.

  • Valid MA driver license and reliable transportation.

• Certifications: CPR/BLS

• Education/Degrees: A.S., Nursing (B. S. Preferred)

• Experience:

  • New grad nurses welcome! (Prefer one (1) year as an RN.

  • Experience in either home or community health.

  • Must be willing to visit patients at home, approx. 35 visits/week.

  • 6 months' experience working with the frail or elderly population through internship or other work.

  • Bilingual Spanish or other language preferred but not required.

Under the supervision and direction of the Director, the RN -Home Health will visit local patients at home, to provide quality in-home nursing care.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct Assessments: Obtain a medical history, particularly as it relates to the present condition, from the client and/or family member(s).
• Conduct a physical examination of the client, including vital signs, physical assessment, mental status, appetite and type of diet, etc.
• Nursing services, treatments and preventative procedures requiring substantial specialized drill and ordered by the physician.
• Initiate preventative and rehabilitative nursing procedures as appropriate for the client’s care and safety.
• Observe signs and symptoms and reporting to the physician reactions to treatments, including drugs, and changes in the clients physical or emotional condition.
• Teach, supervise, and counsel the client and caregivers regarding the nursing care needs and other related problems of the clients at home.
• Is responsible for the care given by the home health aide.
