SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
We are seeking a dynamicWorkforce Program Specialist to join our Organizational Effectiveness and Research team. The role involves complex data analysis, regulatory work, internal audits, and collaboration on compliance reviews for federal, state, and local grants. In addition to these responsibilities, the candidate will play a crucial role in program evaluation and providing technical assistance. Policy interpretation and oversight will be a key responsibility. Serves as a liaison to staff, government agencies, and community organizations, including public presentations.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct program and grant data analysis to evaluate service delivery.
- Conduct comprehensive audits to validate program data, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with procedures, requirements, laws, and regulations.
- Facilitate and manage external monitoring reviews.
- Assist in preparing, evaluating, and monitoring assigned program budgets.
- Provide guidance and technical assistance and keep current with research and regulatory compliance. Other duties as assigned.
Experience and Education Requirements
A bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, or a related field is preferred, alongside experience in data analysis and regulatory work. Proficiency in advanced Excel is desired, with experience and education being interchangeable.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
Proficiency in relevant computer software and data platforms is essential. The ideal candidate will possess strong numerical analysis skills, be adept at evaluating program effectiveness, and excel in preparing comprehensive reports. Effective communication skills are crucial.
