Position Description:

The Product Owner (PO) is the Agile team member primarily responsible for maximizing the value delivered by the team by ensuring that the team backlog is aligned with customer and stakeholder needs. As a member of the team, the PO is the team’s primary customer advocate and primary link to business and technology strategy. This enables the team to balance the needs of multiple stakeholders while continuously evolving the Solution.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with prospective users and clients to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements
  • Defining the vision for the team’s product
  • Creating a product road map based on this vision
  • Managing the product backlog and prioritizing them based on changing requirements
  • Overseeing all stages of product creation including design and development
  • Developing user stories
  • Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process
  • Liaising with the product team and end-users to deliver updates
  • Participating in Scrum meetings and product sprints

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (minimum 2 years) as an IT Product Owner in an Agile or SAFe Agile environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile and SAFe Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean-Agile principles.
  • An excellent Product Owner with the ability to build roadmaps, oversee and guide Scrum teams
  • Proficient in handling end-to-end planning and coordination.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of Scrum and SAFe portfolio practices.
  • Strong understanding of the product development life cycle and product management processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and development teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into clear and detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Proficiency in Agile project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex product challenges.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to influence and guide cross-functional teams.

Qualifications (Desired):

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Knowledgeable in UIPath, Splunk, BluePrism development tools
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) certification

Duration:

  • Full Time

Salary:

  • $30.00/Hour (plus benefits)
