Workforce Development, Inc is seeking a friendly and professional Bridges to Healthcare Career Instructor. The Bridges to Healthcare Expansion is a partnership between Workforce Development Inc., Mayo Clinic, Southeast Minnesota Adult Learning, Riverland Community College and South Central College designed to provide adults with access to a variety of ways to enter and move up a healthcare career ladder. Knowledge of the healthcare industry is helpful, although not required. We encourage all qualified applicants, including minorities, women, veterans, individuals in the LGBTQIA community, and individuals with disabilities to apply.

Responsibilities Include:

• Providing classroom instruction and support for individuals in the program.
• Recruiting, assisting with the elimination of barriers, and helping people make successful transitions into employment.
• Working closely and collaborating with Adult Learning and Higher Education on a daily basis.

Requirements:

• Experience in teaching and working with culturally diverse populations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and data privacy, work cooperatively in a team setting, pay attention to detail, and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to commute to Austin, Albert Lea, Faribault, Owatonna, and Rochester.
• Bilingual skills would also be helpful but not required.

Salary Range: $47,840 to $52,000 annually
