Job Overview:

As a Retail Sales Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting and selling products, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding the right products
- Provide product knowledge and answer any questions or concerns
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and organizing merchandise
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using cash registers or POS systems
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Meet sales goals and targets set by management
- Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities
- Assist with visual merchandising to create an appealing store layout
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store objectives

Skills:
- Minimum Associates Degree or 5 years experience.
- Strong budgeting skills to handle cash transactions accurately
- Proficiency in basic math for calculating discounts, totals, and change
- Quickbooks for Invoicing
- Knowledge of retail math concepts such as markup, margin, and inventory turnover
- Experience in cash handling and operating cash registers or POS systems
- Proven track record in achieving retail sales targets
- Familiarity with store management procedures (for store management positions)
- Exceptional phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries or complaints
- Attention to detail when pricing products accurately
