Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate, nurturing, and energetic Teacher with a strong background to join our dynamic team. If you love working with children, this position offers a great opportunity to combine these interests in a rewarding childcare setting.

Responsibilities:

1. Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities according to the curriculum for toddlers that also includes daily arts and music classes.

2. Create a safe, nurturing environment where toddlers can explore and learn, with a focus on individualized care and attention.

3. Encourage curiosity and knowledge of the world around them through exploration.

4. Assist children with daily needs such as feeding, changing, and nap routines.

5. Focus on social-emotional aspect of toddlers development helping them to deal with social challenges, process emotions and regulate their feelings

6. Communicate effectively with parents about their child's growth, development, and daily activities.

7. Adhere to all center policies and state regulations, maintaining a high standard of professionalism.

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience working in a childcare setting

2. Ability to lead engaging music classes is a plus

3. Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate learning activities

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

5. First Aid and CPR certification

6. CDA certification is a plus

7. Background check is mandatory

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
