WorkCare Inc. is Hiring an EMT (FT) Near Boise, ID

We are looking for an EMT to support our client site in Boise, ID. 
  • Full-Time and Part-Time positions are available.
  • This position is responsible for performing regulatory testing, injury/illness care, wellness education for employees within the EMT scope of practice, the structure of the Client Standards, polices, procedures and treatment care guidelines. 
  • Provide first aid and medical care to clinic employees as requested/needed, and within the EMT scope of practice, following treatment care guidelines set forth by the occupational health director and client policy / procedures.
Responsibilities: 
  • Perform medical surveillance exams per protocol and within scope of practice, such as hearing, vision, respiratory fit testing, skin, confined space and Power Industrial Vehicles exams.
  • Provide emergency response according to client requirements
  • Provide onsite first-aid treatment
  • Participate in ergonomic team activities 
  • Participate in the emergency response team activities, drills, and training
  • Inventories supplies in the designated space (clinic)
  • Schedule and perform all medical surveillance exams to ensure compliance including, but not limited to, hearing, vision, respiratory fit testing, skin, confined space and Power Industrial Vehicles
  • Provide drug and alcohol testing when requested
  • Provide education to employees as needed within scope of practice
  • Assist and maintain proper chart documentation and required logs
  • Provide wellness coaching and non-occupational care, appropriate to scope of practice
  • Participating in general flow of clinic operations (answer phones, polite, professional greeting, checks mail, medical records, filing, copying charts, faxing, etc)
  • Perform additional duties and assume additional responsibilities as identified by manager for the efficient operation of WorkCare.
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must be certified with active EMT-Basic or EMT-Advanced license in the state of Idaho
  • Must have BLS/CPR for Healthcare Provider with AED
  • Prefer 1 years experience as EMT-Basic or EMT-Advanced
  • Must have a valid US Driver's license and must remain valid for duration of employment 
Final compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience and qualifications.
