Utility Operator 16.00/hr. – Spartanburg, SC
Monday – Friday 6am – 2PM – Need to be flexible with overtime if required
Utility Operator, $16.00/hr. – 1st Shift – Spartanburg, SC 29303
Once hired on perm Production Bonus Added WEEKLY if all expectations are met. Production bonus can increase flat rate up to $5/hr. on average.
Utility Operator is an entry level role. The Utility Operator provides entry level work in production and shipping departments within the plant.
Responsibilities:

• Machine Operator Helper – Assist with setup of production order
• Pulls the product for shipment according to order
• Packing product in crates or on skids/pallets
• Verifies and keeps records of outgoing shipments
• Assists production floor by assembling and staging tooling and raw materials in order to maintain production schedule.
• Assembles wood or cardboard or other packaging as required, to include labeling
• Ability to ensure quantities for BOL matches labels
• Ability to maintain an organized and safe facility at all times
• Ability to load/unload trucks as needed

Skills:

• 1 year experience operating a forklift pallet jack experience is preferred but not required
• 1 year machine operating experience – setting up, taking measurements, quality inspection, packaging, and converting is preferred but not required.
• 1 experience in Shipping/Receiving is preferred but not required
• Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Attention to detail
• Ability to multitask
