• Good communication skills
• Trained and knowledgeable in the use of PPE (personal protective equipment)
• Must pass respiratory fitness test
• Forklift license

Preferred Skills :

• Handle and properly use cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Use proper Lock-out / Tag-out procedures
• Maintain and operate forklift safely at all timesComplete daily forklift inspection
• Properly use steam / hot water system
• Properly use product and material-handling pumps
• Read and understand the English language
• Tote and barrel dumping
• Dipping cherries from totes
• Pumping processing and brine tanks
• Other tasks as assigned

Sanitation workers will clean and sanitize equipment and plant following company sanitation guidelines. Operate a forklift to move and replace items in area being cleaned.

Operate steam / hot water system as well as chemical hoses ensuring proper ratio of chemicals to water. Must be able to meet the minimum requirements of a Processing employee, wear appropriate PPE and follow company safety policies and procedures.
