Then look no further! Minimum Requirements :

• 1-2 years previous quality inspector’s experience or exhibit the aptitude for being trained into the position
• The ability to use basic measurement equipment, i.e. calipers, micrometers, length scales, toque wrench, push out / load tester and other equipment as necessary.
• An understanding of Prototype Stamping and Assemblies.
• An understanding of inspection checking fixtures.
• The ability to read linear prints and GD&T.
• The ability to read and inspect Class A or High Polished Panels.
• An understanding of basic mathematics and use of a calculator.
• Physical strength to lift and carry 30 pounds occasionally.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Verification of first piece product inspection.
• Verification of all prototype processes.
• Verification welding and assembly processes using destructive and non .
• Verification of in-process product inspection.
• Verification of final product inspection.
• Verification using inspection checking fixtures and maintaining equipment.
• Maintains cleanliness throughout the work area.
• Aware and knowledgeable of fabrication technologies, Inc. quality policy.
• Offers suggestions for continuous improvement of day-to-day operations.
• Using Bar Code Scanner for Product acceptability.
• Complete quality / inspection paperwork.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• 2 nd shift inspector may be required to serve as backup production operator in P4 Roof Building, if an employee is missing.

The Quality Inspector(s) position is responsible for the verification of prototype and production first piece product, in-process and final inspection.

Employees will be trained up on all tasks and will be considered for hire-in after their time with Workbox!Let’s go to work!
