Painter Assistant, $16 / hr - Savannah GA Our client is looking to build a strong team and hire in Full-Time! Workbox Staffing is hiring a Paint Assistant in Savannah .Responsibilities :

• Preparing surfaces for coatings whichmay include pressure washing, washing with various cleaners, sanding, wirebrushing or other methods.
• Assist with gathering equipment, tools, materials, and consumable items to completethe assigned job.
• Clean up work areas, equipment, supplies and materials.
• Maintain safety standards in the performance of duties.

Qualifications :

• Must wear steel toe boots and safety glasses
• Industrial plant knowledge a plus not required
• Hands on and willing to learn
• OSHA training and OSHA card a plus
• TWIC card a plus
• High school diploma / GED preferred.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass an observed drug screen.
• Must be physically capable of performing the job.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with fellow staff.
• Ability to work independently.

This position will be for a reputable metal fabricator in Savannah.This person will be solely responsible for assisting painters and powder coaters in the shop.Workbox Staffing Benefits :
