Material Handler - 1st Shift - $17 / hr- Dexter, MI Join our team as a Material Handler and play a crucial role in supporting both production and warehouse operations Responsibilities :

• Transport incoming products to designated workstations in a timely manner.
• Move materials or supplies between departments as required.
• Count, weigh, and sort incoming parts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of orders.
• Determine appropriate methods of storage and stock location, considering factors such as temperature, humidity, and space constraints.
• Package products for shipment and assist with order picking as needed.

Qualifications / Skills :

• Prior experience in a warehouse or production environment
• Ability to operate equipment such as dollies, electric pallet jacks, and forklifts
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and prolonged standing.
• Basic mathematical skills for counting, weighing, and sorting incoming parts.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

For this position, you will be responsible for assisting both production and warehouse by transporting incoming products to the designated workstations, transporting products from the workstations to the shipping area, packaging up products for shipment, and picking orders as needed.

This is a physical job that involves the use of dollies, electric pallet jacks, and forklifts. Let’s go to work!
