A Michigan based company servicing the automotive industry is seeking a skilled Die Setter. A qualified candidate will be responsible for _.
Qualifications:

Technical Knowledge: Die setters should have a solid understanding of the principles and mechanics of the specific manufacturing processes they are involved in, whether it's metal stamping, plastic molding, or die casting. This includes knowledge of the machinery, tools, and materials used in the process.

Mechanical Aptitude: They should possess strong mechanical skills to set up and adjust complex machinery and equipment accurately. This involves precise measurements, alignments, and adjustments to ensure proper die performance.
*
Tooling Experience: Experience with various types of dies and molds is essential. Die setters need to be familiar with different types of tooling and the specific requirements of each job.

Problem-Solving Skills: As the setup and operation of dies can present challenges and unexpected issues, die setters must be able to identify problems, troubleshoot, and find effective solutions to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.

Must have excellent communication skills.

The Press Operator will be working in a manufacturing environment where they will be required to read and interpret the necessary die set instructions, and to read blue prints for die information, insert clamp, adjust, bold, and lock press, set gauges, make try out hit, correct adjustments and try out piece to inspectors for approval.
