Workbox Staffing is Hiring a Construction estimator Near Auburn, MI
Construction Estimator, up to $90,000 / yr - Auburn Hills, MI

Qualifications
- Inspect the site to determine the scope of work
- Prepare the estimate in Xactimate
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, adjusters, and property managers
- Document activities and communication in company software / systems (MS Outlook, Xactimate, Dash, and Encircle)
- Communicate regularly and effectively with clients, employees, and subcontractors
- Be persuasive in communicating the solution and its value
- Work with other Concraft departments to ensure overall success
Skills
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
- Have a working knowledge of applicable building codes
- Strong computer skills are a must
- 2 plus years experience in Construction and / or-Restoration estimating
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Ability to negotiate subcontractor's pricing / cost
- Must be able to be on-call after hours for emergency calls on a rotational basis
- Experience with Xactimate and DASH is preferred
A day in the life at this company for this position consists of showing up and working 7am-4 : 30pm, M-F, and must also be available to work on call rotational schedule.
In this position, you’d be mainly responsible for inspecting work sites and estimating cost of various construction jobs.
