The Work Inc. Mailroom Lead Supervisor @ EPA includes a robust benefit package including a well-known health plan, dental insurance, vision insurance, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, sick time and 11 paid federal holidays that is paid for by the employer.

There are no deductions for benefits from the hourly rate.

The position pays $26.50 hr. and the work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8AM-4 : 30PM. Applicants are subject to State and Federal background checks.

Candidates must have a valid MA driver license with a good safety driving record.

Job Summary :

The Lead Supervisor position assists the Project Manager overseeing all daily operational functions pursuant to the EPA Scope of Work.

Assists, as necessary, WORK Inc. staff in the daily operational performance of their duties.

Essential Functions :

Responsible for :

Specific duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following :

1. Determine scope of service to be provided while ensuring adequate staff, facilities and equipment are available.

2. The scope of service(s) provided by WORK Inc. employees shall include :

Mailroom functions

EPA vehicle(s) sub-contracted maintenance, Coordination of EPA staff usage, pickup / delivery of new vehicles.

Conference Room set-ups

Copier basis replenishment of paper and toner

Shipping and receiving functions.

Delivering / pickups of EPA documents to other nearby EPA locations.

3. Maintain close contact with WORK In. employees by staying informed of functional changes that may necessitate changes in current procedures or creations of new procedures.

4. Maintain effective working relationship with external utilities (i.e., US Postal Service, Federal Express, Airborne Express, United Parcel Service, EPA HQ Mail Management Section, etc.

To expedite mail efficiency.

5. Respond directly to EPA employees’ questions or refer them to Project Manager in a timely manner.

6. Assist in preparing all mass mailings with appropriate mailing requirements for delivering to the Post Office.

7. Prepare all required mail-related forms and / or reports (i.e. postage meter register readings, mass mailings, meter deposits, etc.

for EPA Project Officer’s signature.

8. Monitor the postage meter balance, make deposits via telephone with Neopost, prepare meter deposit forms and maintain the machine (i.

e., replace tape, call for repairs, etc.)

9. To act as substitute for Courier, Maintenance Scheduler and Shipper / Receiver when necessary for sick / vacation days.

10. To act as substitute for WORK Inc. Project Manager when necessary for sick / vacation days.

Qualification / Education / Experience :

1. Must have high school education or equivalent.

2. Must be able to type, use and knowledge of Excel and Word

3. The ability to read and interpret documents such as instructions and procedure.

4. The ability to write clearly and cohesively.

5. Drivers license with clean driving record

6. Ability to read and follow map directions.
