Responsibilities of our Commercial Electrician:
• Take charge of overseeing and handling various commercial projects.
• Install, maintain, modify, and repair electrical distribution systems and related equipment (up to 480 volts).
• Ensure strict adherence to the current National Electric Code.
• Wire, inspect, and test electrical system components such as transformers, transfer switches, and switch gears.
• Specialize in office buildouts, remodels, and new wiring projects.
• Effectively use blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturers installation manuals for project completion.
• Conduct surveys of electrical systems, circuits, and plans.
• Maintain accurate digital records and pictures documenting work performed and materials used.
• Strictly adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
• Supervise apprentices, sharing your expertise and knowledge for their development.
Requirements for our Commercial Electrician:
• High school diploma/GED is required.
• Need at least 4 years of experience in the commercial electrical trade.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair of systems and equipment.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Ability to run conduit.
• Low voltage wiring experience is preferred but not required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain professional, positive relationships with customers and coworkers.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and live in the Greater St. Louis area.
