Job Summary

Behavioral Health Therapist Bloomington Medical Services’ current psychiatry practice is expanding to include behavioral health outpatient counseling.

Job Requirements

• Education
  • Master’s Degree in clinical counseling, social work, or related field
  • Current LPCC, LPC, LISW, or licensure in State of Ohio
• Minimum Experience Requirement
  • 1-2 years’ experience providing assessment and therapy
• Strong oral communication skills

Organizational & Position Expectations

• Diagnose and treat mental health disorders
• Prepare, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of client treatment plans
• Conduct risk assessments and crisis intervention, when needed
• Maintain strict confidentiality of client issues and organization matters as defined by professional ethics and applicable laws
• Complete clinical documentation in a timely manner, as required by the organization
• Refer clients to specialists, if necessary
• Other duties as deemed necessary by management or administrative team
• Familiarity with privacy, health and safety laws
