We are seeking a Project Architect or Architectural Designer to join our growing roll-out based team contributing to exciting projects within the region and across the nation, including roll out work for varying hotel and retail chains. This position would support hybrid/remote working arrangements and ideally would be in our Cincinnati, OH, or Atlanta, GA locations. We would also look at candidates that are close to other Woolpert locations, or full time remote working arrangements.

Responsibilities

Team members in this role will be expected to:

• Work closely with clients, consultants, team members, and other project contributors to deliver innovative projects that exceed client expectations.
• Seek opportunities to contribute to design excellence by playing an active role in a collaborative process.
• Conduct research into relevant code, materials and systems, and client-specific requests
• Develop thoughtful technical solutions and drive clear and concise project documentation.
• Can manage a schedule and budget for fast paced projects.
• Can successfully track changes and issuances on multiple projects.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate:

• Possess excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
• Has experience with projects with high technical and performance demands.
• Has practice crafting quality architectural drawing sets and project manuals.
• Is skilled in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam and Adobe Photoshop.
• Has experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, etc.)

Education and Experience:

Project Architect/Architectural Designer: Candidates should hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture from an accredited institution and have a minimum of 5 years of work experience. Candidates for this position are preferred to be licensed but it is not a requirement.
