Woofie's of South Scottsdale, AZ is currently searching for pet-passionate people to join our pet-sitting team! Our focus is on finding Overnight Pet Sitters who can care for pets for one or more days within the safety and convenience of the pet sitter's home.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure your home is a comfortable, secure space for pets to stay, closely mirroring their home setting.
• Maintain the pet’s daily routine, including feeding schedules, walk times, and any specific care instructions.
• Provide adequate exercise and playtime, ensuring pets are active and engaged, be it through walks, backyard activities, or indoor play.
• Monitor the pet’s health and well-being throughout their stay. Administer medications if required, as per the owner’s instructions.
• Pay attention to each pet’s unique needs and preferences, offering care that is as individual as they are.
• Keep pet owners updated on their pet’s activities and well-being through regular communication via phone, text, or the Woofie's app.
• Be prepared to respond effectively in case of an emergency, ensuring the pet’s safety and promptly notifying the pet owner and Woofie's team.
• Maintain cleanliness in your home, ensuring a hygienic environment for both the pets and your own living space.
• Keep up-to-date and accurate journals of each pet’s stay, including any behavioral observations, feeding logs, and any incidents that occur.
• Establish a trusting relationship with the pets and their owners, making them feel assured and comfortable with your care.

 Qualifications:

• Applicants should be capable of walking, exercising, and handling the pet
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Customer service experience is a plus
• Safe, pet-friendly home environment
• Prior experience caring for pets in your home is preferred.
