Position Overview:

As a Groomer at Woof Gang Bakery and Grooming, you'll play a key role in ensuring that pets receive top-quality grooming services in a safe and nurturing environment. You'll work closely with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and provide personalized grooming experiences that exceed their expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling pets' coats according to breed standards or owner preferences.
• Provide nail trimming, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, and other grooming services as needed.
• Assess pets' coat and skin condition, identifying any abnormalities or health issues and communicating them to pet owners.
• Handle pets with care and compassion, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the grooming process.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the grooming area, including equipment sterilization and disinfection.
• Educate pet owners on proper grooming techniques and recommend grooming products to promote pet health and well-being.
• Keep accurate records of grooming services provided, including pet information, grooming procedures, and any special instructions from pet owners.
• Stay updated on grooming trends, techniques, and industry best practices through ongoing training and professional development.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a professional pet groomer required.
• Certification from a recognized grooming school or program is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of different dog and cat breeds, coat types, and grooming techniques.
• Excellent handling skills and ability to work with pets of all sizes, temperaments, and ages.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
