Woof Central provides overnight boarding, dog play & interaction inside climate controlled playrooms, professional grooming services and an on-site dog training program. We offer excellent benefits, a flexible work schedule and complete staff training.

We are looking for a candidate that wants to be part of a caring team who loves animals. No experience necessary, just the desire to learn and grow.

Some of the Responsibilities:

-Provide care and assistance to animals in a professional and compassionate manner
- Handle animals with care and ensure their safety and well-being
- Clean and maintain kennels, cages, and other animal housing areas
- Feed, water, and exercise animals according to their specific needs
- Interact with customers, answer phones and schedule services
- Assist with the bathing of animals if you'd like to be trained to help our Groomers
- Maintain accurate records of animal care.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in pet care, animal handling, or related field preferred
- Knowledge of basic animal behavior
- Ability to handle animals of various sizes and temperaments safely and effectively
- Strong communication skills to interact with staff, pet owners, and other team members
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve lifting or prolonged periods of standing or walking
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed
- High attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Note: Previous Dog Handling, Vet technician or veterinary assistant experience is a plus, but not required for this position.
