We are seeking reliable individuals to join our team in our production facilities based in Everett, WA. Our average employee has 8 years at Woodtone and we want people who are interested in staying and growing with us!

Role Summary
This position is the primary lead on creating custom material orders within our yard. A typical day will involve you breaking down larger material packs, consolidating & tracking inventory, coordinating with shipping/receiving, and checking for quality control. If you are a self-starter, like being outdoors, enjoy physical work, and are good with numbers, then this is the job for you! Our ideal person is comfortable with basic computer work, is dependable, takes pride in their work, and can work with minimal supervision.
Job Summary
- Coordinate with all departments to fulfill specific and ongoing shipping needs.
- Build professional, custom pack sizes for outbound orders.
- Document movement of materials and inventory with the production control team.
- Verify quality of finished wood pieces (visual inspection) and remove damaged material.
- Consolidate individual material into standard pack size as needed.
- Use an air gun to apply bar codes while verifying label to material.
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment utilizing 6S principles.
- Perform daily equipment checks for maintenance and safety.
- Support any other production and operational duties that may arise on occasion.
Requirements:
Knowledge & Experience:
- Experience working with building material inventory or in a lumber yard is considered an asset.
- Experience driving forklift is required.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office)
- Experience with tools (e.g. chop saw) is considered an asset.
Skills & Abilities
- Strong attention to detail with a desire to contribute to a quality product.
- Physically fit, with the ability to stand, bend, squat, reach, walk etc. and lift
- Strong math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Organized, detail-orientated and able to prioritize.
- Self-motivated and comfortable in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Strong work ethic & team first attitude
- Ability to be punctual, dependable, and reliable.
- Good communication skills, which include a positive & professional attitude.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather, seasons, and temperatures.
