Woodstock Dental Group is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Woodstock, VT

Dental Assistant

Our practice is seeking a Dental Assistant to support our Dentists in delivering exceptional care. We have a well established practice and a fun, upbeat team! Our staff is supportive and encouraging.

Responsibilities:

  • Strive to provide the best patient experience
  • Support and Assist dentist chairside with clinical treatment of patients.
  • Assist with documentation and the upkeep of records
  • Listen, empathize and address all patient concerns
  • Provide clear communication and education on treatment plans and maintaining oral health.
  • Oversee operatory set-up and clean-up, including sterilization process.
  • Take radiographs/x-rays
  • Support front desk and office manager as needed with admin needs, patient calls, etc.

Qualifications:

  • CRP Certification- Radiography/ X-RAY certification per state guidelines. Preferred, but willing to train.
  • Well versed in dental terminology and procedures
  • Maintains a positive, collaborative and supportive disposition with team and patients
  • Maintain compliance with state dental practice requirements (i.e., X-ray requirements, OSHA, and CE training).
  • Understands and complies with HIPAA and HITECH Act of 2009
  • Background in dental surgery a plus.
