Woodstock Coffee Company is looking for a part time barista with room for growth! We have built a loyal following and are opening our first store front roastery with a café! This job will require you have passion for coffee and people!
Job Overview
Responsibilities for Barista
- Prepare and serve all coffee, espresso, nitro cold brew, Jamaica tea and light food.
- Properly handle and maintain all espresso and coffee related equipment
- Respond to orders, questions, concerns, and complaints in a polite and efficient manner
- Accurately handle cash and credit card payments, following appropriate cash-handling procedures
- Serve customers quickly and efficiently
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all the menu offerings
- Observe relevant health and safety standards
Qualifications for Barista
- A strong passion for coffee and industry
- Previous barista experience in a volume café preferred (not required)
- Retail, hospitality, and/or customer service experience preferred
- Strong ability to multi-task
- Basic mathematical skills
- Ability to problem solve quickly
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to follow directions
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $8.00 - $15.00 per hour
