Woodstock City Lifestyle is a monthly, community-based publication. The magazine is for, by, and about the residents of Woodstock.
Our content focuses on beautiful homes, local restaurants, community events, places of interest, and much more. City Lifestyle was founded in 2009 with our first publication, Leawood Lifestyle. Since then we have taken the process that brought us success and created a franchise model that invites entrepreneurs to start premium community-focused magazines in their areas.
We’re currently publishing 200 hyper-local magazines all over the country. The publisher of Woodstock City Lifestyle is looking for a local Publisher’s Assistant to help with the daily tasks of running the magazine and taking care of its advertising partners. This person will have a variety of responsibilities.
You MUST live within 20 miles of Woodstock, GA. Please do not apply if you do not meet this qualification. This position can be remote or office based and is a part-time paid position. $17-$21/hr plus commissions.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
● Appt setting - (via phone/social media/email)
● Assist in client ad material collection/approval
● Link articles to digital listings & onboard new clients
● Manage email campaigns and monthly newsletter
● Coordinate gifts for clients
● Assist in event planning and execution
● Occasional magazine drops at coffee shops/pick up locations
● Aging summary/collections
● Maintain social media platforms Qualifications: Publisher Assistant experience is NOT required, but the following traits/skills are desired:
● This is a client facing role. The right candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Professional demeanor and comfortable communicating over the phone
● Computer literate. Familiarity with Google Suite and social media a plus
● Self-motivated and the ability to work with minimal supervision
● Highly organized and able to multitask in a fast paced environment
● Positive attitude and love for your community! A desire to elevate local businesses
