CRANE OPERATOR (CDL Required)

Position requires leadership, understanding of job site set up, attention to detail and a complete commitment to safe work practices. Ability to operate or willingness to learn Knuckle boom grapple crane necessary.
Duties include operating a mobile crane to lift, move, position, and reposition loads on to commercial and residential properties. **Given the dangerous nature of the work required, employees must be able to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time**

Essential Functions

• Loads and unloads items adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations.
• Operates trucks according to Company policies and state/federal laws.
• Transports load over required route to proper destination, observing all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Completes and transmits all paperwork in compliance with established Company procedures.
• Maintains vehicle cleanliness and replaces gaskets, nozzles and other related articles as necessary.
• Performs safety inspections on trucks, equipment and/or facilities as required by Company policy.
• Calculates boom/crane capacities and weights and checks clearances so that buildings, hydro wires and machine will not be damaged.
• Ensures load is not over weight limits and adheres to DOT regulations Maintains miscellaneous service duties such as checking, on a daily basis, oil, water, fuel, tires and tank related items.
• Reports any equipment malfunctions and/or concerns to Manager.
• Performs other related work, as assigned by supervisors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have valid Commercial Driver's License.
• Must be able to wear necessary PPE.
• Must be able to withstand exposure to all kinds of weather while completing work assignments.
• Must be able to lift, move and maneuver heavy weights of 10 pounds frequently, and weights of up to 50 pounds infrequently.
• Must be able to operate and service all required tools and equipment.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test.
• Must be able to pass criminal background check.
