Orthopedic practice seeks Medical Scribe

The qualified candidate will have at least one year of utilizing this knowledge and skill set:

• Providing compassionate and kind patient care
• Obtaining and documenting medical history and vitals into electronic medical records
• Accompany physician during patient visits and accurately transcribe medical documentation in real-time
• Assisting the physician with procedures
• Scheduling/ordering diagnostic test and lab work
• Answering phone calls, scheduling appointments and taking messages
• Medical terminology and proper spelling and grammar
• Ability to transcribe medical information quickly and accurately
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• HIPAA, Security and OSHA compliance applicable to a medical setting

Preferred but not required knowledge and skills:

• Orthopedic experience
• eClinical works and Cerner EMR system

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
