Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution is currently searching for a Research Associate II to join the Marine Policy Center. This is a short-term (March – November 30, 2024), half-time (20 hours/week), exempt position and is eligible for limited benefits. This role is hybrid with in-person expectations for international engagements.
This position will support the activities of the Marine Policy Center Director. The individual will work to conduct policy research and analysis, provide administrative support for policy related domestic and international conferences and workshops and support marine scientific research.

Physical duties for this position would include working in an office setting, occasional prolonged standing/sitting and possible travel to national or international meetings. Other physical tasks include use of hands for basic /fine grasping and manipulation, repetitive motion, and reaching above and below the shoulders. Other occupational requirements include talking, traveling, working around and with others in an office environment. Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs may be needed. Physical duties are subject to change.
