Job Overview: We are seeking a talented and creative Landscape Designer to join our team. As a Landscape Designer, you will be responsible for designing and planning outdoor spaces that are aesthetically pleasing, functional, and sustainable. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and then develop innovative design solutions that meet their requirements. Responsibilities: - Collaborate with clients to determine their landscaping needs and goals - Create detailed landscape designs using software such as Civil 3D, Rhinoceros 3D, and MicroStation - Prepare project proposals, including cost estimates and timelines - Coordinate with contractors and oversee the implementation of landscape projects - Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather necessary data - Select appropriate plants, materials, and hardscapes for each project - Ensure compliance with local regulations and codes - Provide ongoing landscape maintenance recommendations to clients Skills: - Proficiency in design software such as Civil 3D, Rhinoceros 3D, and MicroStation - Strong knowledge of landscape design principles and practices - Excellent project management skills to ensure timely completion of projects - Ability to draft detailed plans and specifications - Knowledge of irrigation systems and landscape maintenance techniques - Strong sales skills to effectively communicate design concepts to clients - Creativity and an eye for detail to create visually appealing designs - Strong problem-solving skills to overcome design challenges We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
