The pay is $12.50-13.50 per hour depending upon experience and qualifications. This position is onsite at our center located: 1101 Woodlake Drive NE, Palm Bay FL 32905The Infant Teacher develops a cohesive teaching team, coordinates the curriculum, and manages the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom while implementing a curriculum that is appropriate for infants. The teacher in this role should be high energy and able to work well with staff, students, and parents. You’ll have the opportunity to be a serve as a model and mentor, leader in the classroom, champion a team environment, and provide fun-filled learning opportunities while making a positive impact on the lives of our infants. What You’ll Do:
• Manage adherence to quality standards in accordance with both center’s vision and state and local / state requirements• Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement• Work with staff, children, and parents to foster a team environment• Develop a careful and creative program suitable for preschool children• Encourage children to develop a community-spirited classroom through sharing, caring and self-regulation• Develop a well-balanced schedule of activities including learning, playing, diapering, eating, and nappingWhat We Need from You:
• DCF 45 hours or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire• CPR and First Aid Certification required• Previous early childhood education preferred• • Must clear a full level II DCF background check• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and basic computer skills• Strong understanding of children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where students are engaged and encouraged to succeedWhy You’ll Love Working for Us:
