JOB SUMMARY : Working in a fast-paced, team-oriented industrial manufacturing environment, uses a variety of general woodworking equipment and products to produce and process cabinet components to manufacture and build custom kitchen and bath cabinetry.

Also responsible to assist other departments as production demands.

EQUIPMENT / MATERIALS :

• Safety Glasses / Ear Plugs
• Tape Measure / Calipers
• Production Paperwork-Work Orders
• PC / General Equipment / Programs
• Variety of woodworking machinery and assorted hand tools
• Air powered sanders, screw guns, staple guns
• Variety of woodworking components including putty, glues and paints

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Works with a variety of woodworking equipment including various saws, sanders, routers, spray finish equipment and fastening materials as well as miscellaneous hand tools
• Job assignment may vary on a daily basis
• Must be able to learn and apply all departmental safety, quality and productivity standards
• This job requires regular, predictable full time attendance and all overtime as production requires

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

All other duties as assigned.

Requirements :

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES :

• Able to work in woodworking facility including exposure to dust and spray finishing materials
• Able to work in repetitive to highly repetitive jobs
• Must be flexible to changing schedules, routines and tasks
• Willing to learn
• Woodworking experience / related experience helpful but not required
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes helpful Safety, Quality, Productivity
• Knows, understands, and follows applicable standard practices
• Effectively plans, organizes, and utilizes all available time
• Displays sense of urgency towards critical responsibilities
• Assists to identify and support continuous improvement opportunities

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS :

• Observes and follows all Woodharbor Safety Policies and Procedures in accordance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA as outlined in the Safety Handbook
• Observes and wears all job required personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and ear plugs
• Observes the Workers’ Compensation regulations with regards to proper reporting and communication
