Raytheon is currently seeking a Field Service Representative to provide technical field support at OCONUS (Outside Continental Unites States) locations as well as CONUS locations. The OCONUS assignment will be on a 2-to-3-month rotational basis, CONUS or home base location will be at McKinney, TX. System level training will also be conducted in McKinney, TX.
What You Will Do

• Conduct technical analysis of product functionality, modifications, and enhancements to product in accordance with customer specifications and configuration.
• troubleshoot technical problems and issues.
• Represent Raytheon as the initial interface with external customers and ensure customer schedules are met.
• Candidate may also be called upon to assume additional leadership roles and at times work with little or no direct supervision and is the point of contact to Raytheon program management.

What You Will Learn

• Working with infrared, electro-optical weapons systems using conventional electronic troubleshooting techniques.
• Working with the tools and test equipment commonly used in electronic installation, maintenance, and testing.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience troubleshooting/operational checkout of the FLIR/MTS system.
• Must be experienced with the tools and test equipment used in electronic installation, maintenance, and test.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience with maintaining and using the Forward Looking Infrared (FLIR) system or other airborne FLIR/MTS system is a plus.
• General Atomics MQ-9 Aircraft and Ground Control System (GCS) experience is preferred.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
