Woodfords Family Services has a growing need for Foster Family Support Workers to join our team. We have several casual positions available in various locations in Southern, Western, and Central Maine.
Program & Position Summary
With the support of trained foster parents and the Woodfords' treatment team, children and teens are offered guidance in navigating psychological, emotional, social, behavioral and learning challenges with the hope and intent for family reunification and life skills growth.
The Foster Family Support Worker will support the family unit by providing one-on-one support to foster children in their foster home and community with a focus on daily living, social interaction, behavior management, and communication skills.
This position involves a high level of interaction and the ability to build and promote positive relationships.
Here's what we're looking for :
Casual (0-19 hours); afternoons, evenings, and weekend availability required.
Starting at $18.00 per hour
$375 Sign-on bonus! Paid at 6 months of employment.
