Job Description:
As a Project Estimator at Woodcrest, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our projects by accurately estimating costs and timelines. You will work closely with our design and construction teams to develop comprehensive project proposals that meet our client's expectations for quality and luxury while adhering to budgets.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the design and construction teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Conduct site visits and assessments to gather necessary information for accurate cost estimation.
• Analyze project plans and blueprints to determine materials, labor, and other resources required.
• Obtain quotes from subcontractors and suppliers, negotiating pricing as needed to ensure competitiveness and quality.
• Develop detailed project proposals and cost breakdowns for client review and approval.
• Monitor project budgets and provide ongoing support to the construction team to ensure adherence to estimates.
• Stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and best practices to inform cost estimation processes.
• Knowledge of cost control techniques in construction projects.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a project estimator in the construction or remodeling industry, with a focus on high-end residential projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and best practices.
• Proficiency in construction estimating software and tools.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in estimating.
