Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Middle School Math & Science Teacher to join our dynamic team for the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching math and science, a deep understanding of middle school curriculum standards, and a commitment to nurturing the academic and personal growth of our students.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging and rigorous math and science lessons that align with the school's curriculum and instructional objectives.

• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students and provide additional support or enrichment as needed.

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes inquiry, critical thinking, and collaboration among students.

• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, resources, and technologies to enhance student learning and engagement in math and science concepts.

• Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.

• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate Islamic values and principles into math and science instruction, fostering a holistic approach to education.

• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills, stay current with educational trends, and contribute to the school's continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Science, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

• Valid teaching license or certification in Middle School Math and/or Science.

• Proven experience teaching math and/or science at the middle school level, preferably in a diverse and multicultural environment.

• Strong knowledge of middle school math and science curriculum standards, as well as instructional best practices.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

• Commitment to the mission and values of Woodbridge Islamic School, including integrating Islamic principles into instruction and promoting character development.

• Proficiency in integrating technology into instruction to enhance learning outcomes and prepare students for 21st-century skills.
