Woodard & Curran is growing, and we are looking for qualified Operators near Bowling Green, Kentucky! You will be working in an Industrial wastewater pretreatment plant. If you enjoy working outdoors protecting nature’s precious resource, water, then this position is for you. The Wastewater Operator regularly participates in the daily operations and maintenance of the Wastewater Treatment facility as directed by the Project Manager. Employees who join Woodard & Curran’s staff find a culture that is welcoming, supportive, and empowering Monitor wastewater treatment plant processes and equipment both manually and via SCADA automation, making adjustments as necessary to control their operation. Perform water quality sampling, testing, and analysis to determine compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Operate, maintain, control, and perform routine repair of plant equipment, including preventive maintenance duties. Utilize software programs for maintenance work orders and maintains all necessary records. Perform general maintenance duties of plant and other assigned duties. What would you need to succeed? High School Degree or Equivalent. Valid Driver's License required. A wastewater license is not required but a Kentucky Wastewater license is preferred. We will work with employees to obtain licensure. Ability to make sound decisions in process control and follow instructions, as well as follow safety procedures. Successful candidates will be required to complete a background check, pre-placement physical and drug screen before employment. Why would you choose Woodard & Curran? The salary ranges given below are a national average only and may be different for this role based on specific collective bargaining agreements or contract requirements. Project Specific Pay Range: $20.00 - $26.50 an hour. Compensation Pay: This position’s anticipated pay range is provided below; final exempt salary or non-exempt hourly pay will be dependent on experience level as well as considering a % based geographic differential based on where the final candidate will be working. Geographic differentials are used to recognize and reflect cost of labor differences between geographic markets. Annual Incentive Bonus Opportunity: Eligible positions may receive an annual cash bonus based on the role’s organizational level, and is represented as a percentage range of eligible earnings** Pay Range $15.20 - $22.80 Benefits & Wellbeing Retirement Savings: 401(k) or Roth: Company will match equal to 100% of the first 3% of salary contributed, All employees are eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan and 100% vested in the value of own contributions and any employer matching contributions. Time away from work: Vacation time is provided to full and part-time regular employees. Vacation is accrued, based on number of hours worked per week as well as prior years of experience. Woodard & Curran offers paid sick time to eligible employees who are absent due to their own non-work related, illness, injury, or medical procedure. Woodard & Curran provides up to 80 hours of Paid Parental Leave for bonding in a 12-month period. Company-paid disability insurance from Sun Life to assist with replacing a portion of your income in the event of non-job-related illness or injury. Eligible employees are automatically enrolled and eligible immediately.
