Who We Are Looking For:
We want to add an experienced and motivated Electrical Engineer to our electrical engineering group. The successful candidate will join an established, respected, and growing team providing electrical engineering services to our practices across the firm. As an Electrical Engineer at Woodard & Curran, you will work on electrical distribution, relaying, power generation, motor control, and lighting projects for our industrial, water, wastewater, municipal, design-build, and plant operations clients on a regional and national basis. You will interface with clients to understand their power, lighting, and motor control requirements for municipal, utility, and industrial facilities. You will also prepare and coordinate engineering reports, studies, calculations, drawings, and specifications. In addition, you will perform construction phase services such as shop drawing review and contractor oversight.
Your work will come in varying degrees of complexity. Although you will work independently on most projects, our experienced staff will be there to support you collaboratively as a team. You will support our project managers with the technical delivery of projects or tasks within scope, schedule, and budget. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver electrical design solutions consistent with process, mechanical, and control system requirements in a consulting environment. Our diverse portfolio of projects means you will have the chance to work across different markets and geographies.

• Vacation time is provided to full and part-time regular employees. Vacation is accrued, based on number of hours worked per week as well as prior years of experience.

• Woodard & Curran provides up to 80 hours of Paid Parental Leave for child bonding in a 12-month period.
