Wood is Hiring a Lab Tech Near Hebron, OH

- Perform laboratory tests and experiments using molecular biology techniques, microbiological methods, and histology procedures
- Collect and analyze data, ensuring accuracy and completeness of results
- Maintain laboratory equipment and instruments, ensuring proper calibration and functionality
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to Federal and State regulations and quality control guidelines
- Prepare samples for testing, including sample collection, processing, and storage
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize laboratory processes
- Maintain accurate records of experiments, procedures, and results
- Assist in the development of new laboratory protocols and procedures

- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., biology, microbiology, biochemistry)
- Previous experience working in a laboratory setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of molecular biology techniques, microbiology methods, and quality control principles
- Familiarity with industrial laboratory practices and Federal/ State regulations is a plus
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and interpretation
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of Industrial terminology is beneficial
- Strong mathematical skills for data analysis
