- You will monitor all client files, create and design program curriculum, and monitor the clinical training of staff.
- You will assist in coordinating treatment and discharge planning as well as crisis management as needed.
- You will act as Clinical Director in the Clinical Director’s absence.
- Assist Clinical Director in the provision of services to clients.
- Provide supervision to clinical team and signs off on Clinical Intern/ Trainee hours as needed for State/Federal/Private licensing.
- Monitor the needs and behaviors of clients via therapist supervision.
- Continue to learn about substance and alcohol use and the principles of recovery.
- Assist with planning activities, therapeutic support groups, outings, and community meetings.
- Recognize early signs of illness, as well as the need for professional assistance and follow-through.
- Respond to emergencies and initiates action as required.
- Discuss significant events involving client activities with the treatment team.
- Follow HIPAA Regulations.
- Assist Clinical Director with staff issues as needed.
- Attend and participate in staff meetings and trainings.
- Other duties as assigned.
- The ability to communicate and work effectively with people from various backgrounds.
- Experience providing group, individual and family therapy.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and 42CFR Part 2.
- Prior experience and knowledge in an addiction recovery and/or MAT (medication assisted treatment) environment.
- Experience with crisis management.
- Understanding of Co-occurring Disorders.
- Knowledge of Integrated Treatment Approaches.
- Knowledge of Psychopharmacology and MAT.
- Knowledge of Trauma-Informed Care.
- Licensed in the State of Wisconsin with the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS), or license-eligible in the State of Wisconsin as a mental health professional (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Psychologist) with knowledge in addiction treatment.
- Two (2) years of experience in a clinical setting providing direct services to individuals with co-occurring disorders, including knowledge of integrated treatment approaches and best practices.
- One (1) year of experience supervising in a clinical setting that treats individuals with co-occurring disorders.
- Wisconsin Certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor preferred (SAC-IT, SAC, CSAC, ICS).
- Wisconsin State Driver’s License, insurance to meet state requirements and ability to operate Program van.
- Must successfully pass a caregiver background check and DMV check at hire and annually thereafter in accordance with state and local DHS requirements.
- Must successfully pass a drug screen per WVR policy.
- Current CPR/BLS and First Aid Certification.
